Un mod\u00e8le en particulier a retenu notre attention gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son capteur de vent \u00e0 ultrasons int\u00e9gr\u00e9 : le feu de navigation BRIGHTWind. Ce mod\u00e8le \u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour \u00eatre mont\u00e9 en t\u00eate de  m\u00e2t et offrir trois fonctions d&rsquo;\u00e9clairage. Son fonctionnement non m\u00e9canique en fait un choix id\u00e9al pour une utilisation ext\u00e9rieure sur le long terme, quelle que soit la m\u00e9t\u00e9o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce capteur de vent utilise quatre transducteurs \u00e0 ultrasons au lieu de pi\u00e8ces m\u00e9caniques pour mesurer la vitesse des ondes sonores entre chaque transducteur. Ces donn\u00e9es permettent au capteur de d\u00e9terminer avec pr\u00e9cision la vitesse et la direction du vent. De plus, l&rsquo;an\u00e9mom\u00e8tre Calypso int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au BRIGHTWind peut mesurer des vitesses allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 100 mph et fournir des informations directionnelles compl\u00e8tes avec une excellente pr\u00e9cision, sans \u00eatre affect\u00e9 par la friction m\u00e9canique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quant \u00e0 la lampe LED TriColor\/Anchor, elle offre bien plus que sa robustesse. Elle inclut \u00e9galement une option stroboscopique qui permet de convertir la lumi\u00e8re blanche fixe en une lumi\u00e8re stroboscopique, activ\u00e9e\/d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9e en cas d&rsquo;urgence. De plus, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une photodiode int\u00e9gr\u00e9e, la lampe s&rsquo;allume automatiquement au cr\u00e9puscule et s&rsquo;\u00e9teint \u00e0 l&rsquo;aube. Offrant une visibilit\u00e9 de plus de 2 miles nautiques, ce feu de navigation LED consomme jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 5 fois moins d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie que les ampoules \u00e0 incandescence comparables.
